Kokoro Connect (ココロコネクト, Kokoro Konekuto) is a 2012 anime series based on Anda Sadanatsu's light novel series of the same name. The anime was directed by Shinya Kawamo and produced by Silver Link. The anime's screenplay was written by Fumihiko Shimo, the character designs are by Toshifumi Akai, and the sound director was Toshiki Kameyama. It consists of two separate installments: the 13 episodes entitled Kokoro Connect, and a 4-episode special that adapts the next arc following the season entitled Kokoro Connect: Michi Random. The anime began airing on July 8, 2012 in Japan, and finished on September 30, 2012. Weeks later, Michi Random began airing on November 19, 2012, and completed on December 10, 2012. The entire anime series was licensed by North American distributor Sentai Filmworks for an English dub, which was released on Blu-Ray on October 22, 2013 and is slated for release on December 4th, 2013 in Australia.
